Last weekend, we attended the course “Managing postextraction sockets in the aesthetic area” in Complejo San Juan (Alicante), which was given by D. Pedro Peña and organized by GAED – I am currently presiding over this association since April 2015.

Several interesting topics were treated during this seminar, due to its importance and scientific innovation. These courses are extremely important because they keep us up-to-date both with knowledge and dental techniques that we can find in our everyday in our dental clinic, LG Dental, in San Pedro del Pinatar. For example, one of the topics treated was alveolar ridge preservation and which are the biomaterial and antibiotics employed to avoid infections and optimize the procedure.

Additionally, the dialogue between professionals and speakers was incredible, not only during the seminar, but during its breaks.
